Divisions - Male Pairs, Female Pairs & Same Sex pairs
All Athletes complete seeding workouts in advance and they are then placed in the three Rainhill categories:
WOOD - Scaled
KENNEDY - Intermediate
ROCKET - Advanced
MASTERS AT WAR

Our Masters event consists of same sex and mixed sex pairs and this year sees the return of individual divisions which will mean over 450 Legends competing together making it one of the biggest masters competitions in the world
DIVISIONS
Male, Female & Mixed Pairs
70-79 / 80-89 / 90-99 / 100-109 / 110+
Male & Female Individuals
35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60+
There are no seedings for Masters events as both individuals and pairs are categorised by age with appropriate scaling for all workouts.
For Masters Pairs, the divisions are the combined ages of both athletes and for fairness, the max age difference allowed between each athlete is 15 years
Masters events are for anyone over the age of 35 and is fully inclusive for athletes of all ages and abilities.
With Legends, every rep carries the weight of experience and every cheer echoes years of dedication. Age is no barrier, its just fuel for proving there’s always more to give.

Rainhill athlete spots are in high demand so we allocate tickets through a ballot.

Spectator tickets are available for all of our events and the next event is the Rainhill Spring Trials on the 16th & 17th May 2026 at Bolton Arena.
